Just noticed a wee bit of a green cast on the lower head...don't know how it was there, but I have fixed it.

    Wil:

Lovely dorsal view, lots of detail , nicely exposed, good head angle.

Fun to go back and redo older images with better software!

    Congrats

That's what I'm talkin' about, Mr Kite King!

An undisputed beauty Will. The even light, intense stare, sharp from tip to tip and the glorious bkg make it a stunner.

    Love it mucho my friend!

Fabulous, what a collection you must have of these birds.
IIRC from your original posts of these they were flying over grass and that gave the green hue under the bird.

Hi Will ... stunning capture !!
Looks top notch all around , good to see the old 1Dx performing so well .

Just see a thin dark line around the subject .... ???!!!
Would be interested where it is coming from ?
Sorry for being picky .... but the image is so good ... it does cry for perfection

    Very well done !!!!!

Thanks for that Andreas....I 'pixel peeped' ....also saw the line....just wondering, if it was when I gave the BG some NR(PS)...as there was some posterisation....which it cleared...

Late to this one Will...but glad I saw it. Love it! One day (take heed covid) I'll get back to your neck of the woods and photograph these birds. Cheers.
