Some Sanderlings hard at work cleaning up the beach of invertebrates. I was obviously concentrating on the front bird when the far one photobombed the frame in just the right place to permit the creation a near-perfect juxtaposition image.
Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/2500s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, slight rotation then crop for composition (the bend of the leg was clipped, so I purposefully cut it more solidly), minor sand clean-up via spot removal.
