Wow...
This is one of the best photos I'we seen you post here in a while and that is saying something with your kind of quality. The wing position and the spread of the tail together with a vole in the claws is a killer combination. Furthermore the light is stunning, the background is perfect and the details are fantastic.
One could comment on the shadow on the left side of the birds chest and wing but I don't find it distracting as it is quite a soft contrast. It is obvious that you thought of the comp and placement of the bird when you framed it to the lefthand side. I think that is the right way to go but would move the bird just a fraction more to the center as the right side feels a bit empty now.

Fabulous. The mouse and the fluffy leggings are to die for. Yes to sharp and the gorgeous birds and light. But the wing position is not quit perfect. I wish that the right wing were fully flared like the left one so the shadow under the primaries would have been eliminated. I am pretty sure that you were justifiably stoked when you had this chance.

Super indeed! The feathered wrapped vole is eye catching after the demanding attention when viewing the lone eye of this kite. amazing at 1200mm but what a great rig that can deliver like this.
