Shot at Corkscrew Preserve in Florida on 02/16/2014 at 4:15 pm. Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 600 mm F/L IS USM + 1.4x III, Shot at 840mm, F 5.6, ISO 1600, 1/1600 sec , Auto exposure, 2/3EV. Gitzo tripod and old Wimberly head. I have photographed this beautiful bird in several locations on the West Coast of Florida but this is the best pose and background I have found so far.
Beautiful bird, well exposed, nice pose, soft background.
The noise in the image is quite noticeable and distracts from the presentation. The leaf covering the tail has a line across it. Was there something in the foreground causing that?
Such a pretty bird, worth another pass at post processing.
Thanks for the C and C. I guess I need a lesson in noise reduction as several of my posts have gotten that response. I appreciate it and will try to do something about it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
