    You got the colours spot on here John...I have them flying around the harbour everyday. Lovely detail you captured on the Gull with a nice HA. When I see them perched on a rock like this, I sometimes wait to see if a wave splashing would make them take off.....Makes for a great pic.

    John:

    I like the staggered leg, head turn pose. Depth provided by the waves in background, wet perch, all good.
    You could go a bit brighter on the exposure, but personal choice.

    A nice, dramatic feeling frame with the waves approaching behind John.

    Digging the details and slight camera acknowledgement by the subject. I too could use a slight brightness lift.

    This is really good John.
    Love the rock with the film of water covering the rock.
    Whites look great, great HA and perfect parallel pose!
