Your new word for today is: Kleptoparasitism - a form of resource acquisition where one animal takes resources from another. Not uncommon. The Fork-tailed Drongo shown here, though, adds an interesting twist. He has learned to mimic the alarm calls of other birds; and when they flee, he scavenges their abandoned prey. Pretty clever. This guy was captured near Duma Tau, Botswana in 2018. Unfortunately his signature forked tail was not deployed in this image.

Love the golden light, EXP, details and BG. Even though the perch is busy, your subject is clear except the feet. I don't mind HA as the face and eye look great and this beauty is clearly focused on it's business. TFS
Bill, thanks for sharing this bird; a first for me. You did very well getting lots of detail in the blacks, nice job!
Really interesting composition; I think I like it notwithstanding a touch more canvas on bottom. Sweet transition from the warm oranges to blues is neat.
Main thing for me is the HA. It's kind of been beating up lately (maybe forever) but that's the main nit for me.
How cool, thanks for the info on this bird's behaviour. Good IQ, and comp. Nice light. Yes to a better HA, and of course there is often that one leaf covering the feet!
