Default Blue Winged Teal lift off

This lovely BWT took flight right towards me from a small pond very early one morning.

This is so cool. The splash almost looks like bubbles and that he's under water. Very unique image.

Nice frontal image David. I would have liked a touch of a head turn but I'd still be pleased to have this in my collection.

This is very cool. :) Amazing how much wing blur there is at 1/1000s. What are those two dark streaks in the upper left?

    Hi David,

This is very interesting, amazing how the water drops tells the story. I really like how the head and body are sharp and the movement of the wings are great also. Good capture!

Wonderfully done. A really astounding image. Do you know if you used central sensor or 45-poiint?

Thanks and later and love, artie

Hello Artie and thanks for the kind comment. I almost always use 1 point center focus and I am sure thats what I used for this image.

He looks just like he is underwater and holding his breath! Very unique and wonderful. If it were mine, I would get rid of the two streaks in the upper left and the one to the right of the duck's face...then I would print it!
