Beautiful setting. Good pose. We had up to six of these guys visit our back yard last week - the first time that has happened in 40 years - and one was still hanging around as of yesterday, partaking of our water bowl. But I don't have the sweet setting that you got there at Montezuma. Good work.

This reminds me of a Daniel Cadieux. Awesome canvas, my friend. TFS

This is excellent John.
I love the pretty flower setting .
Your placement of the bird within the frame is really nice.
IQ is excellent and I also like the little bits of pollen on the head.
Well done,
Gail

Steve, would you comment on edits so we all can learn please?

Brian, it’s generally through LR filters as John uses LR, then in PS Using curves and a Channel Levels adjustment, that simple, you have it all in C1, layers & limo masks and I believe you are also using TK too. It’s basically Contrast based adjustments, but masking the subject. Best to swing by Wildlife every now and then.
Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
