Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing good and staying safe .
Sorry, for a long absence as I was quit occupied all these days and things seems to have slightly become better for me and will try to post every now and then.
Here is an image from my Bandhavgarh trip from Dec 2019. We were extremely lucky to have this sighting all to ourselves and it was a very exciting moment on sighting this young male having a drink from this small lake.
The light was getting better, not too strong or soft either but was hitting the right areas. I made some portraits as well from this sighting and also some very wide scapes than this one. What I particularly liked here was the vibrant colours of the tiger standing out amidst the forest settings. The dark waters in the lake also adds some depth IMO.
DPP 4.12, PSCC 2020, WB , TK7 masks -- curves, selective colour, levels, vib/sat, cropped very slightly from the bottom and top , sharpened the subject .
Canon 1DX MK II, Canon 200-400 f4 IS II @ 200mm, Bean Bag.
ss 1/1000, f/6.3, iso 800.
Looking forward for all your comments and suggestions, be it of any nature.
Hi Haseeb, do I assume this is the same Tiger posted that was drinking?
I wonder if shooting wide open or f/5.6 may have been better. I like the framing and the 'stepping' of the environment, tree line, grass, water, albeit perhaps both treelike & water is a slightly too dark, but the Tiger needs a bot more 'oomph'. Can't comment on the TK, will let Andreas do that.
Nice to see you back posting, hope it's not too long before we see more.

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
Haseeb I recognise the venue, I feel the tiger would ideally be further to the right so he is looking into more space than where he is, I do like the image however. I think also if the tiger was a little more saturated or vibrant he would look a little more attractive.
Thank you Steve and Jon , your comments and suggestions are much appreciated.
@ Steve — This is the same tiger having a drink that Doc posted earlier. In what terms, shooting wide open might have helped here ? Can you please share your opinion ?
I think the water is just abt right because of the shadows and reflection of canopy. Certainly can look into adding more oomph to the TIGER, though I like it as presented.
@ Jon — were you able sight a tiger at this location ? A nice environment to see a tiger here .
I liked the framing , feels just abt right to me , I think there is enough space all around and placement of the tiger works for me, but could have tried your suggestion while out there. I think the vibrancy on the tiger is fine as per my taste , but will try and see how adding some more vibrancy helps.
A fine tigerscape setting here Haseeb, although I'm 50-50 on the treeline BG, was it possible to include more or did the sky start creeping into frame?
