Every time I see your images from Maryland I think that I must go there someday.
Lovely portrait John. Exposure perfect for the whites. Blacks a bit chocked and would try to get a bit more detail if possible.

The drop make this one, for sure. I love how you've managed equivalent headshots of male and female of this species. I might turn the highlights down the slightest bit here, but this is pretty perfect as presented.
Awesome! Colours, sharpeness, ow angle, everything! The body angle here addresses the issue I had with your previous image...this is what I wished for in that other image :-)
