Hi Mike, big red for sure. I have seen this pirouette before when Reddish Egrets jump straight up to change direction. NIce work post processing, the image looks spot on. Thank you for sharing.

The low angle is spot on. Like how the bird is just right above the water. Detail looks nice. Digging that green.

Argh!! I was going to photograph this species in May at Desoto, but my mouse cursor has been hovering over the "Cancel" option of the trip! Oh well, in the meantime I will just enjoy these online images. I love the low angle and pose. Sharp too. Nice. Only unfortunate thing is the shadow on the wing to our left.
