    Default Ring-necked Duck

    Another one from Golden Gate Park in downtown SF earlier this week. Not a ton of action or behavior, but I've never achieved similarly lime-peach water before. So there's that.

    The white-black interface on this species is one the single most challenging exposures I've encountered.

    Canon 600mm f/4 IS II + 1.4x III on EOS 1DX2
    1/2000 at f/5.6, ISO 640, handheld
    Processed in LR CC without trickery

    Nice low angle and this water is interesting...
    I think you could add in some black to the blacks....

    Love the water color in this one. Nice swimming pose as well. The framing is right on.

    I too, really like the color of the water. Great POV and light.
