DOF is perfect. How the heck did you manage this at F 5.6? How much of a crop is this?

Beautiful look at those layers necked feathers! These guys are personal favorite of mine, and I wish we had them in California. I can tell the ISO was pushed up a bit, but the file still looks really good.

Hi Gail, welcome back from your travels. Thank you for viewing and commenting. Regarding your questions, I think the depth-of-field is from camera and lens combination. The depth-of-field of a 400mm with the field of view of a 600mm. The image is about 80/85 percent of the full frame, a little off the bottom and right side. Thanks again, Gail.
