Love the white against dark BG, the top side view, EXP, details and composition. Congrats and TFS.

Beautiful gliding flight capture, Bill. Excellent control of the blacks and whites. I especially like that you got such nice separation of the black feathers from the dark sea background. Wonderful detail throughout.

Ooh, this looks great Bill! I love the white bird against dark water. Nice feather detail on the wings. And sharp from tip-to-tip-to-tip.

That dark water really makes this one shine. Nice dorsal view. Detail on the bird is very nice.

Beautiful exposure and detail across the entire wing span - bravo! I appreciate the high contrast view against the water but would love to see if you can squeeze a bit more blue out of that BG. The golden head would look good against a slightly bluer BG.

Top side view in that nice light is excellent. I agree a more blue BG would improve.

Thank you all. Here's a repost with some blue saturation, and just a point or two of additional brightness, added to the water. I'm not sure this is realistic; the sea was a cold steel grey for most of the time we were shooting there (although the sun did pop out briefly). But perhaps it makes the image more appealing.

Ditto all the positives above. From where I sit, I prefer the original post.
