Taken last May. Full frame...well chopped a little from the bottom and added a little to the top. Had to be close to minimum focal distance.
Less than 15 ft any way. Audio used. Burned the whites on the wing bars a tad. Would have liked it better if the bird was facing the morning
sun. It was facing the sun earlier, but it was lower on the branch and the body was partially occluded by the branch. I deemed this the better
image. Straight size reduction, no sharpening applied.
Though the perch is large and obtrusive, for me, the second winner is far stronger. The off-angled lighted really hurts the original post.
