    This is my first flight shooting capture with my new 1DIII, serial 554234, 1/1600 at f4. av mode +2 compensation, iso 640, 300 f2.8 with 1.4tc at 420mm, no flash, ai-servo center focus point, from jpeg-dng-raw-cs2 enhancment. This male immature eagel is about 18 months old and the offspring of a resident adult pair. comments apprecited. cj

    Nice subject. Light looks a little harsh and it's too bad his head intersects with the wing. But it does look in focus! :)

    Definitely looks in focus. But then again a blue sky BG shouldnt be any challenge at all for a 1 series body. I agree with Jody and would add taht I think there is a bit of a yellowish cast to the bird?

    Very nice image. I also wish for a better separation between head and wing and there is some underwing noise.

    It looks like the guys have given a good assessment. I know it would be better if the head and wing were more separated.....but I'd sure keep this one......everything else looks good.
