The Cistern is one of those must see places in Istanbul Locate across for the Blue Mosque and built by the Romans Part of the aqueduct It is below street level and has a small cafe to relax and enjoy the view. You know i love those night shots! I love the way the columns draw you in and the mystery. Glad i don't have to clean up the water leakage! Must be a full time job! did you happen to notice that the column shadow makes a cross???

I did Roman and there are places further down you can explore with other neat effects btw the humidity there is about 100% and its very cool .... refreshing when you come in form the street and its real hot !!!
