    The Cistern is one of those must see places in Istanbul Locate across for the Blue Mosque and built by the Romans Part of the aqueduct It is below street level and has a small cafe to relax and enjoy the view. Lots of water leakage from the ceiling !!! Image made with a Leica M4 21 Elmarit lens !! Slide film

    Hey Alfred,
    You know i love those night shots! I love the way the columns draw you in and the mystery. Glad i don't have to clean up the water leakage! Must be a full time job! did you happen to notice that the column shadow makes a cross???
    I get to travel the world in this forum! Very neat!

    I did Roman and there are places further down you can explore with other neat effects btw the humidity there is about 100% and its very cool .... refreshing when you come in form the street and its real hot !!!

    I noticed the water marks first and then the crosses. Nice work.

    I love it Mr. Al,
    It looks like a pathway from an Indiana Jones movie. It transmit a feeling of mystery and the unknown...:eek:
    So whats at the end of the path? :D:cool:
