Excellent pose, perch, detail, and wonderful background. Well composed. The background is really suitable for this sparrow.

BG is really elegant, with a stylish perch I like a lot. Pretty little birds like this get so often overlooked when we're out big gunning for raptors, herons, etc., but they really make fine images such as this one.

Very, very nice indeed! The perch is stunning and the colors compliment the background very well.
The head turn, the light and the composition is all spot on!

This is really nice, Gail! I love all the brown tones, the perch, and the smooth BG. Exposure perfect, and details look great with the zoom/1.4. I need to try that combo on my DX2!
Also big props for making something money out of common bird!

Gail. Nothing more for me to add...a beautiful shot. The perch and seed pods? add much to the composition. Great HA.
