Love the fluffy look, helps to minimize the perch issue! But otherwise a nice look at this guy. Glad you got some color in the wing despite the flat light!
That is a pretty cool pigeon! Nice of it give you a good parallel pose for tip-to-tip sharpness (compared to the angled perch which goes in and out of dof). I love the crest and ruffled feathers. Good green BG too. The perch is what it is - can't always be too fussy when on vacation, although I know the feeling as I am way too fussy at times .
Hi Gail. I've seen many of these...the colours are amazing, and you've captured this one so well. Love the clarity, HA, FFD and that BG really contrasts nicely with the bird.
