A male RWB calling while perched on a cattail (no better natural perch for this species) with a killer BG with perfect exposure and detail in all that black. Congrats and absolutely no nits here. TFS

Excellent exposure on blacks and reds. Like the soft layered background, neat grip on perch. Calling pose great.

    Well done John.

This is really lovely, John. Pose and light are great, and the background is dreamy. Good details in the blacks considering the sun had just cracked the horizon.

Looks great. I love the BG, perch, and pose. You've done very well with the red winged blackbird shots. Nice view of the feet. TFS
