    Spring on the Lek in 2017.So much fun to shoot grouse. Lots of opportunities and action. I never get bored.Processed DPP 4,Photoshop didn't do much removed a few small out of focus grasses.

    Love the trotting/calling pose, BG, colors and most of all that eye/eyebrow. Composition could lose a little on the right given direction of subject. TFS

    Very nice......Lovely pose and enough HA to see the eye. Nice detail and a lovely POV. I like the colours on the bird.

    Super shot quite a handsome little fella! Exposure and colours look good. Love those eyebrows and the open bill - hope you have some more!

    Like the composition on this one. The calling pose on the bird is nice as well.

    You have a great pose here.Love the eye and eyebrow!
    I think the image is a bit dark and I would increase the exposure by 1/2 stop whilst protecting the throat area with a feathered selection.
    I also think this could use a levels adjustment. These simple fixes would make the image sing I think!
