I took this pictures on a river.I have been watching a little group of these little ducks for about 3 hours but failed to be close enough for a good try because they are so nervous and difficult to close by. But finally , i catched this one and i was very proud of.

Nice shot of these very shy ducks. I like the wing blurs with the head still relatively sharp. I wish there was more room to the right for them to run or fly into, but I know that is not always possible.

They really are hard to photograph. I like the action but I wish they were further left in the frame. Could you post some techs? The highlights look overexposed and higher shutter speed might have frozen the action better. Keep them coming.

Great poses and clean separation between the ducks !

Agree with Jay about the comp.
Whites look a bit hot on my monitor.

Félicitations Yves. Your patience was rewarded. I like the action here but as Jay and Axil mentioend a bit more room on the right would help improve the image.

These guys sure can be tough. You've done a good job here Yves. To improve on this image I would have liked to see more room for the birds to fly in to and also, as mentioned, a faster shutter speed would have given you a bit of a sharper overall effect. When trying for this species really try to get them in nice low angle light. If the light is harsh at all you will have real hard time exposing properly. These ones are a fair bit overexposed in the white areas.

    Keep working hard :)
