Hi John, the white BG is sure showing the Elk very well. No nits from me on this. I like it as is. Good work

    Works for me too, John

I quite like the slanted FG here, adds to the scene and creates more interest to what would otherwise be a simple image with only the subject to focus on - good thinking

Subject well exposed with good detail, nice techs, well framed. Love the eye contact and inquisitive pose from the Elk.

Enjoyed viewing, very much - thank you for sharing John!

    Kind regards,

Hi John - What a lovely low POV, makes the bull look huge and intimidating. nice details but the ss is quite low. I also would have loved the tip of the antlers being more prominent rather than submerging in the sky.

    Nice one.

Hi John, being on a clean BKG does add prominence to the subject although being on a slant for this isn't doing much. I think if you opened up the midtowns and darks a little sin a Curves adjustment would help. I think placing the subject a bit more to the LHS and having more negative space to the right would be better rather than a central POV. The grass appears a bit off in colour and there appears to be some odd artefacts within the patch? Colour isn't grabbing me, but perhaps an option of going B/W with a hint of warmth might work and offer an alternative the the previous postings?
