The texture of the fur looks silky smooth and the colours look good. I am a little uneasy about the wiggly sky line, I think I would have been tempted to fill it in. I think I would move the fox just a little to the left.
Noise looks almost non existent....... I see you have gone to DPP from Capture 1??

I like the composition and placement of the subject Andreas and as Jon said, it has a soft, silky, almost dreamy look & feel, can't fault the POV, spot on. Personally, I think the image benefits in having that break in the sky, but the area that contours the ear does look a little out of character as it follows the line perfectly...

Steve is that good or bad .... ? Not sure about the context , cause of language barrier . Can you please clarify ? I have done nothing to it .... as shot !!!!

It looks as if you created it because it follows the ear too well, (perfectly), the rest of it is just a wavy line, but the fox has managed to place the ear spot on with the grey horizon, nicely done.

If you have it then re crop, easy to extend if not, but perhaps adding a sliver above might help????

Maybe a misunderstanding ...the image is as shot , nothing added

The low angle is killer on this one so is the composition with the fox looking into the frame. Looks great for the high ISO.

Really nice soft light on this fox. I like the alert pose and those great eyes.

Hi Andreas - Great low pov and I like the soft tones and silky look to the fur. Did you lighten the eyes at all?

Love the low angle and the glowing eyes in the soft light.
Really well pulled off. Good points made on the sky behind but not a deal-breaker for me.

Hello Andreas:)
I too like the soft look here. I take it you have a "soft spot" for those foxes
Lovely dreamy quality to this image, Boetie. Nice POV and wonderful pose. Framing is great.
Works for me as presented, wonderful work!
Kind regards,
