Screaming Great Blue Heron

I was photographing this bird perched in a tree. Leaping into the air it began gliding and screaming towards me and close over my head. I have a couple of frames where the wings are not clipped and a few with the wings clipped as it got closer and closer. This is one of the images where I clipped the wings trying to keep up as it approached. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Really like this one. The head on view and open mouth is great. A tighter crop would be quite nice.

I like the sharpness -- thank you Nikon for that -- and the screaming but the EXP is too uneven for me to love it. Some NIK stuff might do a decent job of opening up the shadows ...
