Wonderful image, John.
Killer background and perfect head angle form this Fawn, lovely colours too.
Subject's face is super sharp with nice detail. Just wondering whether the lack of shutter speed affected the left ear - perhaps it was moving? It does not bother me a great deal, I am just curious.
I find this Fawn really gorgeous and those fine long hairs/eyelashes/whiskers quite intriguing - in fact I read a bit about those whiskers on the Internet, won't go into detail now because it will take me the whole evening, the article was fairly long but quite interesting.
Overall a lovely image well processed and I enjoyed viewing , thank you for sharing, John - much appreciated
Kind regards,

Kind regards,
Thank you Gabriela, The fawn was dead still. I am below the fawn shooting up slightly. Just not on the same plane of focus.

Hi John - One of your best with a lovely bg and great details. Colors and tones look good too. Those whiskers are impressive.

Love the smooth greens in the background and the whiskers, as others have mentioned. Would have been nice if the head was turned a bit more towards camera, but definitely a great shot.
