Hi John what a great POV to this BB ....stunning !!!!
Technically as posted ....some issues as commented by others to previous posting . You can recover some stuff and work a bit more on color and tone to make this more pleasing for the eye , IMHO.
Start from scratch and try a second version ...worth trying at least .

The same main issues as previous, but this has even less SS creating movement certainly in the paw. You could improve the colour, but not the lack of clarity as there should be a lot more definition (form) in the face.
John, you have to get more SS, learn about DoF and using the DoF previous button (P250 of the manual) and ultimately - using the Histogram in the camera for your exposure, lightening images to recover the subject is not the way to go and leads to poor images and IQ. The Histogram is, IMHO the best bit of the camera and ETTR, it just delivers the image.

Hi John - I agree with Andreas and Steve. These last two images you posted would have wound up in the bin for me, not pp. Sorry.

Thanks Steve,
I use the depth of field preview button when i do macro/landscapes all the time. I think that is what you mean by previous button. I Exposed to the right with this one. Completely blew out the background. Got data all the way in the fifth box.
