Hi Jon - I like them posing side by side with the head turns to camera. Not sure you needed f8 unless you were fairly close but it looks good. Nice detail but it looks a little flat. I would apply a curves adjustment similar to what you did with my ele image yesterday.

    Rachel

Thanks Rachel, I was fairly close, I did play with curves but I was anxious to keep an eye on the darker tones, I didn't want to lose the detail there.

Hi Jon a nice solid Mother / child portrait of this species .... good to have both in the same focal plane .
Comp does work good , likewise the overall color and detail . I do agree a bit of punch would not hurt the image .
Maybe the greens are carrying a bit too much of yellow .....just a thought .

Nice view of these two. They both gave you a nice pose with good eye contact. The environment you caught these two in.

Hi Jonathan -- The RP looks much better. I liked the framing and good details as well. Would have liked some more space at the foot but not a deal breaker.
    Nicely done, TFS !

Hi Jon i think the RP is a bit too dark, and you lost some nice separation in the 1/4 and HL tonal range . Just my take.
