An adult bird with an evil eye reflecting its nature - they take young birds out of nests. This was the best head turn on offer as it would not rest, looking all around.

This is looking good Colin. The BG shows the bird real well. Nice look back pose and good perch. I may sharpen the bird a wee bit. i like your chosen crop.

Nice pose on the bird. Love that red eye. Good perch as well. Great background.

super cool bird. I like the look back pose and head angle. May be a difference in monitors but the head of the bird does not look tack sharp to me and the light seems a bit harsh as well. I'd love to see this bird on a more interesting perch. Sticks are nice but some foliage or something really takes the photo up a bunch of notches.
