    Taken early one morning at Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuge back in May out of the window of my vehicle. I know, the head is turned a little to far away.
    Admittedly not a song bird and their vocalizations are not particularly melodious.

    nice calling pose, too bad the head was turned away from us. side light didn't help either. image shows a color cast / too much contrast and is a bit over-sharpened as posted. Nice BG BTW

    killer background here. If the head was turned more towards you this would be great.

    Thanks Arash. I probably should have just done a straight size reduction without sharpening. Early morning white balance always gives me problems. After reviewing the raw file, the white on the breast indicates the
    color temperature should have been closer to 4800 rather than the 4500 that i used.
