I remember this set John. Very nice setting, pose, perch and love the snow. I think your processing is off. The shot has a reddish cast to it, the background is noisy and the bird seems a touch flat to me. Did a 30 second redo to correct some of those issues. Also I would prefer the bird be placed a little left in the frame. Keep in mind that I did not worry about making the whites on the lower belly and undertail perfect. Just did a global adjustment that I would not advise doing to the RAW.

I also really like the setting and the falling snow is great. Isaac's RP is definitely an improvement with the NR and color correction. I also see a bit of a magenta in the OP that could be addressed. The bit of snow and moss on the perch is sweet. TFS

Nice frame John. Isaac's repost is an improvement. Love the snow, perch, and BG.

    Simple and Nice Image.

I agree the repost is improvement.

Some how with the the new image size format, it is difficult for me to understand the color changes unless I open the image in new tab. This is my personal opinion.

Only when I opened both images in separate tabs I could understand color difference.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for correcting the colour cast Isaac as I was going to mention it :-) Nice setup with the good perch in the falling snow. Although seemingly minor, I would most definitely spot-remove the small white speck touching the eye and also the snowflake almost touching the tail. Otherwise, good stuff, and feels good looking at this winter scene while in the middle of a heat wave
