Another from Botswana in February. Taken from a makoro near Little Vumbura. Gotta love those feet.

Oh yeah, I love it! Perfect profile pose with the huge raised foot adding tons of interest. Perfect comp, and I like the bits of vegetation poking up from the water. Lots to like here!

Beautiful looking frame Bill. That raised foot looks so cool. Nice feather detail and pose. Great HA.

    Well done.

Great bird, love the colors. The exposure is spot on, and those raised feet and the background are fantastic too.

Thats a killer frame Bill! Love the slight HA, the raised foot showing us those incredibly long nails, reminds me of edward scissorhands! Lovely colors and I like how the water's edge fades off to the BG, wow!

You nailed this one Bill. Great subtle light and timing on the dynamic raised foot pose. I have never seen a Jacana so thanks for sharing it.

Hi Bill. Looks pretty good here. A Jacana in the open is always nice. And you have to love those huge nails. Bird is angled slightly away from us here which is not ideal. Image would benefit from lifting the exposure.

Good one, Bill. The slight cloud cover provided beautiful light on this beauty, and gave a great bluish gray to the waters surface. Nice raised foot pose.
