    Default Black Throated Blue Warbler

    This little guy was taken in Miami last month. I'm fortunate that they nest here in Minnesota too though it's a bit of an effort to get to the spot near Tofte along our north shore.

    Thanks for any comments. Not much I can do about the faded branch in the background but overall I like the image.

    There are 2 here, the first one is as shot with basic edits on the bird, color, the other is using the patch tool, clone stamp, and spot healing brush to try my best to get rid of the faint branch in the background. Not sure which is better, but thanks for any feedback.

    1/800 sec, f 5.6, ISO 200, 7DII, 800mm.

    Hi Paul, nice find and pretty colors. I like the HA too. the image has a few issues: harsh light, steep angle and distracting branches

    You seem to do quite well getting close to these warblers. Nice pose on the bird.
