    Hi John, I like the interaction between these two, together with the flying droplets. I feel you could tease out a bit more from the whites of the lower Egret. I would also crop away the 'brown' part of the upper BG.

    I too agree with the suggestions. Since it is already a big crop you could try selecting the brown strip above and morphing the colour to green (via "Selective Color"), this way you would not sacrifice even more pixels. I must say that the image works much better than what I anticipated from the thumb. I like the flaying water drops and falling raindrops.
