A flycatcher from a local park near my home.
7D II
400mm
1/200 (Should have increased ISO to 3200)
f/5.6
ISO 1600
Hand Held
Could have tried to clone the branch crossing the tail, but did not.

Hi Sanjeev, very nice, shame about the branch over the tip of the tail feathers.
Correct, but it is with the 7D... Looks OK at this size.1/200 (Should have increased ISO to 3200)

Agree about the tail and the branch. But this looks good as is.
Shot is fairly sharp and colorful bird looks good. Not sure upping ISO would have helped much as you would have lost a bunch of detail. OOF branch is tough as you note.
Ah man, that branch is unfortunate. Good vertical comp. Nothing wrong with 1/200s. with good sharpness technique, but IMO the 7D II is OK at ISO 3200 if the image is not underexposed and not cropped much (but not the original 7D, which looks rather iffy at that ISO in any circumstance).
