Super pleasing image. Feather details, pose, background, and that crazy eye are all top notch.

Nice portrait here. Love that blue eye. Great background. The open mouth pose is awesome.

excellent pose and details, love the open bill. On my screen it has a blue cast which I quickly tried to remove in this repost

Awesome! Great close-up, nice and sharp. I like both versions. The only thing I would do is darken the pupil. Great stuff!

Dorian - I love the colors, the crazy detail in the eye, the beautiful clean bg, and obviously the open mouth action captured. I would have been beside myself to see this on the back of the camera. Great job.

Wonderful image Dorian, Absolutely love the colors and the blue eye just grabs the viewers attention. Arash version is just a tad bit better if you wanted to go with pulling some of the blue out of the image.

Thank you all for the kind words! And yes, Arash, the shot was a tad bit blue, so thanks.

This was the one keeper frame I got from a whole morning down at La Jolla, so I'm glad
you all like it so much!

    Cheers!
