Too cute, and nicely framed in habitat, Sanjeev. Those eyes say it all.

I don't find the background too distracting, I like the thorny frame. DOF is limited but nose and eyes look acceptably sharp, colours look good. It may have been a good idea to tone down the grasses at the base. The eyes are very engaging, a pleasing image from my point of view.

I love the framing by the vegetation in this one and the pose really lifts this. It's very hard to get a clear shot in these situations so am doubly impressed by your result here. Detail is wonderful and colours nice and soft. I'll leave it to others to discuss tone but to my eye, the OP looks fine. Composition wise, I'd be tempted to take some of the right. This would take you towards a squarish frame but if that works, why not?

Hi Sanjeev - Too cute. Those eyes are fantastic. I think probably somewhere between your op and Steve's rp as far as color/tones. I also would probably take some off the rhs. Good job getting the face clear of the all those branches.

Thanks all, I too agree the RP of Steve is a tad light and I remember the dogs to be quiet dark in colour especially the snout. Maybe somewhere in between my OP and RP would be accurate.

As I mention Sanjeev I'm away so the laptop is not ideal, but in PP you do need to think about the darks, shadows and contrast, so you keep the feeling, but retain detail by controlling these areas. Exposing correctly will make life easier and so you can play with these areas to add the depth, so adjusting things both Globally & Selectively will help.

Hello Sanjeev,
This is beautiful, thank you for sharing! Love those eyes (and eye contact), fantastic pose. Don't mind the vegetation one bit, in fact it frames the subject nicely.
Techs could be better but hey you nailed this one, good timing. Steve's RP brings out more detail and colours are better IMO.
Whew, this pup is so cute, I cannot take my eyes of him... Very well seen and captured, I so enjoyed viewing
Kind regards,
