Beautiful light, IQ and colors reflected in the calm water that compliment the brown tones of the Merganser. I like the direct eye contact, ha and soft reflection. Well done.

Indeed very lovely! The brown color palette works very well here. Details on the bird are nice. I love the bit of water getting pushed. Fanned tail is nice too. TFS

Great tones and sharpness on the bird. Only thing I might say is that she looks a bit low in the frame, so I'd love to see her moved up a bit.
There is also a large dust spot directly above her head, near the top of the frame.

Wow those earth tones look great together and the bird is nice and Sharp. I like the raised crest and the head angle looks great too. The comp looks good to me as the reflection is about right and yes to removing a couple dust spots. Very nice Gail

This is sweet Gail. Color palette is perfect and the bird looks great. Funny enough the first thing I noticed was that dust spot!

Top work Gail. This is really wonderful with great complementary colour palette and that wispy looking water. Excellent detail and tonal range on the bird, although a whisker more dof to bring the tail in focus would have been great. The frizzy hairdo really makes her stand out.
