Hello Andrew!
Impressive Rams, and I like the way you captured them in their habitat. Nice RP from Rachel who brings out the subjects a little more and I like the vivid and more saturated look in her RP.
Given your explanation (bear in mind I know not much about the species) I feel this is an excellent behavioural frame as it portrays the tension between males awaiting for the females to come into oestrus. Would have loved to see some conflict too, hope you get lucky next time!
Just an observation if I may, shutter speed is quite low - try aim for more, especially when things might get "interesting"
Enjoyed viewing and hope you pop in more often here in the Wildlife Forum, always a pleasure to see your images!
Kind regards,

Thanks Gabriela. I agree about the shutter speed. Luckily, the rams were just standing around waiting & hoping. They usually mate in Dec., so I was a little early to see conflicts.

Hi Andrew -- I really liked the scene and the situation it conveys . nicely framed and the settings shows the landscape they thrive in . Liked that bit of snow as well. Rachel's RP has certainly lifted the image , giving more form to the rocks and colours. I would prefer something between your OP and RP. Nicely done.
TFS !
