    Can't let the month go by without a gull shot from my files. This is a Belcher's Gull, also known as a Band-tailed Gull, taken on a gloomy morning in Lima, Peru in 2015.

    D7200, 500f4, ISO 3200, 1/1250s @ f/6.3. Full frame.

    Neat looking gull. Never heard of one until now. Wish you had more of a head turn. Nice detail and i like the rock perch.

    Nice calling pose Bill,white breast feathering looks really good and I do like that interesting multi coloured bill,bg tells it's story.

    Lovely Gull and I really like the color on the bill, The HA has been mentioned one suggestion that I have would be to selectively brighten the gullet separate it from the BG as presented the subject blends into the BG.
