Hello everyone ! Thank you for all your comments and suggestions on my previous post, much appreciated .
Here is another image for this months theme. a tiger family from Ranthambore and in the background is the famous Tigress " Noor " with two cubs , the third one was resting somewhere else. I liked the way all the tigers are looking in one direction , the crop can be debatable but it was the best I could have framed on the field as per the positioning and distance. Late evening shot but the sun still had some hues hence warmish tinge out there. I have extended the canvas slightly on the lhs as it was very tight there. cropped from the top and slighlty from the bottom.
Hi Haseeb - From the shooting angle it looks like you were close and shooting down on them so stopping down would probably not have made enough of a difference. If they were sitting for a while then this is one of the situations where it's good to do some experimenting with different settings after you get one in the bag.
Colors look good. I do want more room to the right with them all looking that way.
Loving the symmetry in the 3 poses here, nice colour & tones as well, agree that f/8 would have made little difference, but this just calls out for a lower POV here Haseeb, but understand that most likely wasn't possible.
Thank you Marc ! Yes , I agree , but since they were sitting in a dry river bed and our vehicle was placed on an elevated area , hence, lower angle was not a possibility but something to consider if similar opportunity arises.
Love the light and striking colours here, superb detail on the main protagonist and tonality is great. This is rather unusual I agree, but it works for me, including composition.
Cannot believe you got those three chaps lined up like this, I think it is awesome. Forgot to mention frame is beautifully exposed and techs are spot on. Lovely detail in the blacks too.
Well done, Haseeb - really enjoyed viewing, thank you so much for sharing
Would agree with Marc 100%, I would have shot tighter in this instance and if the position allowed, gone lower. Seems Noor and Arrowhead are making a big appearance currently. Hope the MKII is now behaving itself, mine were in a real blizzard the other day, but just nailed the image without question.
Sorry for coming in late. I've had quite a few distractions lately that have ruled out BPN for a while. This is a nice piece of work, Haseeb. I understand the difficult choice with composition but this works for me. I can also see the benefits of some of the suggestions such as getting lower even though not possible this time around. The detail and colour is really wonderful in this one. Another vote for a bit more on the right side though.
