    Hi Sasan,
The exposure, sharpness, BG, and tones look good to me. Love the backwards glance. I wish the oof foreground wasn't obstructing the full view of the fish and talons.

What an absolute stunner of a shot Sasan. Great light, beautiful bird and bonus prey against a perfect background from a great POV. Hard to imagine how this could be better. All in fabulous detail.

Very nice Sasan. I wish your POV had been about 2 inches higher to get the feet fully visible but that is a minor issue.
    Beautiful head turn and exposure.
Composition is always such a personal thing but I would like the crop to be a bit looser all around.

Minor nits noted and agrees with, but otherwise this is a superb image. The light all round is gorgeous, and the look back head angle form the bird really works well with the shot.

That stare is intense! Love the eagle on that fish. Man you placed the head angle perfectly for the fish. Agree with Gail re you shooting angle. Would have been ideal to be a few inches higher. Judging from the ISO and shutter speed I would guess that your RAW file is not 100% tack sharp. Looks like a bit too much noise reduction was applied that washed out some of the details and the feathers by the legs look a little over sharpened to me. I don't see the fine feather details that we should see around the head. The 1dx2 can be pushed more. You can shoot at ISO 4000 or 5000 or even 6400 and have more shutter speed which I think would have helped you here.

What a superb look-back pose from the eagle! Love the feathering on the legs, and that wonderful fish in perfect position. And a beautiful background. I'm OK with the relatively tight comp. On my [non-5K] monitor, the sharpening on the legs looks about right but the head is less sharp. At f/5.6 I think it would be tough to get the whole bird in sharp focus.

I see what Isaac was saying about the oversharpening of the legs/feet. The fish appears to be the same way.

However, all that aside, it is a very imposing image, great pose and HA. I like it a lot.

I agree with the suggestions above but I must say it is very appealing set up image. Great details and colors. I might try to tone down the fish of little also. Well done

you did very well Sassan, a tough higher would have been nicer ere the view of the talons. the image quality and sharpness looks good to my eye, it looks sharp and detailed from where I am sitting
