    No, that's not the technical name for this plant, but it is how I feel when I look at it. I was happy to find such an excellent specimen and soft overcast light. Canon 1Ds, 100mm macro.

    Nicely balanced Jeffrey....vibrant color with shadow and highlight detail.
    I really really like this one, it's a wallhanger

    full frame?

    That is one of the nicest Depth of Field pictures I have seen recently. It almost looks like it is in 3D.

    Hi Jeffrey,
    simple and elegant do define this comp. Remember to post what f stop and speed you used & if it was tripod mounted. That was one perfect specimen. Very well done.
