Nice light, low perspective, and feeding post. You need to make better use of your AF system to move the bird well back in the frame; it is too centered as presented.

Soft, warm light, great POV, like the gently banded background.
I like the diagonals created by his tilt, legs. I agree with Artie re: comp. if going horizontal, but just for giggles, with this particular birds pose and lines, I might be tempted to go completely the other way and do a vertical, to play up his tall, slim body. This would only work for me because of the head down pose, not if he was upright.
Fun to "break the rules" sometimes.

Nice Warm Colors. I agree to a little on the left so that bird wont be so centered
Nice one. Like the light, multi colored BG, and pose. I'm biased towards horizontal and would also have more room to the right, less to the left. TFS
