    Default Many-colored Rush-Tyrant

    Captured this image at a marsh in Lima Peru back in June of 2015. He decided to puff up his feathers. In an image I posted back then, one can see he's about half this size. C&C welcome.

    D4s, Nikon 500mm f/4G + 1.4 TC, 1/500s, f 6.3, ISO 1250, Gitzo, Wimberley Gimbal head.

    Cute Bird. I like the image. Noise reduction can be applied to the background.

    I like the Yellow, they are really good.

    Good exposure as well.

    I like this shot. I like his puffed out thighs look. I agree it could use some background noise reduction.

    Like the feathers puffed up and the bird stands out well against the vertical reeds.
    Also good eye contact and pose, but I agree with NR on reeds.

    Such a gorgeous, tiny bird. When we stood on the edge of that wetland and he popped out of the reeds to pose for us, my heart skipped a beat. Great shot with him all puffed up -- maybe a defensive stance? Yes to NR.
