Wonderful bird and moment captured Jay. Shame about the clipped wing - yes, it does need more work but I never attempt these types of fixes unless very minor so can't advise, sorry. Light looks like it was very kind here and has meant the tones, detail and colours all look wonderful. Excellent background too. I guess you have shots before the bird raised its wings. Might be nice to share those too as you shouldn't have the clipped wing problem with them.

Great pose here with a nice perch. I don't really like the framed border.

Thanks Glenn for the comments. I do have several images and will have more as these birds will spend couple of weeks more in Singapore.

Thanks John. I dont think borders are popular as not many people use it. My daughter always says, bird is nice, but dont care for the border. But somehow I like them, without them I feel an image is incomplete -:)

Great pose and background. But the clipped wing is a real shame. Hope you will get some more. I'm in the no-border camp.

As mentioned, really nice pose and BG. The perch looks a little purple to me? but maybe just my screen. For the wings, the way you mentioned would be my approach. A couple times I've gotten lucky using just content fill aware however and thats repaired the wings pretty nicely although sometimes needs a rotation. I think its worth giving it a go again as it is really a nice frame if the wings could be repaired. TFS
