    Default Sandhill Cranes in flight with the full moon

    I was tracking these cranes and hit the shutter when they flew past the moon. a bit far away, but I thought it might work for this theme. Canon , 7Dll and 100-400ll at f5.6, 400 mm, 1250 ss, 800 iso

    Nice one, Michael. It does indeed fit the theme. I might be tempted to brighten the birds just a tad, and maybe sharpen them, if they can be sharpened.

    Great timing, certainly fits the theme very well, I agree with Bill that an extra little bit of sharpening won't hurt, just keep an eye on the halo.

    Really excellent timing Michael. I agree with the other comments about sharpening as the birds look a touch soft. However the frame is still very eye-catching. Great work.
