    Default Optimized or Progressive?

In PS I will typically save my file and then go to FILE, EXPORT, SAVE FOR WEB so that I can have the proper size for posting.

You have the option to choose Optimized or Progressive? Could someone explain the advantages or disadvantages please.

Do you embed the color profile or no? Why?

Embed the sRGB profile for web use and if I remember right optimize and progressive have to deal with how the image will load when viewed either one is ok.
