Captured this image in a lagoon at the base of a glacier just south of the well known Jokulsarlon glacier back in July of 2016. I like this image for it's tilted bergs, especially the lighter one in the foreground showing clearly the layers of volcanic ash separated by clean layers of ice. Also visible in the background you can see the different moraines created as the earth was pushed in front of the advancing glacier. My guess is there is quite a bit of water flowing rapidly off the glacier turning the water a light brown. C&C welcome.
