Hi folks ...more to come from the bisons
This time two bulls having an argument ....as rut was going on , but this has been just the two younger bulls , so i guess the fight was not too serious . More like testing the power they have .
The dominant bull was busy staying close to one female ...interesting to see his behavior by chasing away the calf from the mother .

I would have loved to have more room on the LHS ...sadly i do not have it
Image taken on the last rainy morning of my visit ....so i kept the exp fairly low in post .

    Canon EOS 1Dx II
    EF 500 IS L II
    HH no support

    F 8 ; Iso 16000 ; 1/2000 sec ; FP right to the open eye ( single point)

Processed with DPP 4.6 and PS CC ; cropped for comp to 70 % of FF

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous thread

    Cheers Andreas

    Nice closeup action.
I think the OOF foreground hurts this a bit....

Excellent timing, Andreas. The eye is great and the soil kicked up in this tussle is an excellent bonus. I agree more on the left would be nice but nothing you can do about it. I don't feel the tight framing works as well here as with your previous bison post of mother and calf - but again as you have a fixed focal length and already have most of the frame in the shot, nothing could be done. As usual, your IQ and handling of tone and colour is excellent.

Hi Andreas - Nice action. The kicked up dust and bit of motion add for me. I do feel that it is a bit tight and understand you probably went this tight to compensate for not having more on the left but I really want more room all around particularly on the left. It's a tough one.

Hi Andreas, I can't help but compare the previous image which I feel is streaks ahead. For me it's the RH eye, it just dominates the whole scene. Well executed, techs are excellent, likewise the mood and atmosphere.

Thanks Dan, Glenn; Rachel and Steve for your feedback ,much appreciated !

Rachel - just wish more space on LHS , then i would be really happy .
Steve difficult to compare the two i think ...compeletly different from the emotional POV .

    Thanks again , Andreas
